New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points as the New York Knicks stayed hot with a 113-106 win over the Orlando Magic on Friday. Jason Smith supplied 19 points and five rebounds, Lance Thomas netted 16 points and Langston Galloway had 15 points and eight boards for the Knicks, who won three game in a row for the first time this season. Tim Hardaway Jr. drained a shot from beyond the arc to ignite a 7-0 swing that tied the game at 31-31 just over four minutes into the second frame. With under two minutes to play, Galloways reverse layup and Anthonys dunk capped a tight first half as the Knicks led 51-50 at the break. Trailing 78-77 with under a minute to play in the third, Hardaway made all three foul shots after he was fouled behind the arc and Shane Larkins driving layup beat the buzzer to give the Knicks an 82-78 lead heading into the final stanza. Anthony started the fourth with a trey and sparked an 8-2 burst which was capped by Larkins layup for a 10-point advantage with 9:21 to play.
